Are you a motivated student or recent graduate with a background in business, finance, or a related field? Do you have a passion for venture capital and creating social impact? Are you excited about advancing LGBTQ+ representation in the European startup ecosystem? If so, we’d love to meet you!
We’re identity.vc, Europe’s first venture capital fund dedicated to backing LGBTQ+ founders. Innovation thrives on challenging norms, and for the LGBTQ+ community, this is part of our DNA. “Born to Disrupt” is not just our slogan, it is our mission. Based in Berlin, our Article 9 impact fund invests in LGBTQ+-led startups at the pre-seed and seed stage across Europe and all sectors. As we raise our first fund, we see ourselves as a startup on a mission to change the VC world.
We are seeking a dynamic and driven Visiting Analyst VC (f/m/d) to join our venture capital team for a minimum of 3 months, preferably 4+ months, starting in February 2026. In this role, you will work closely with our partners, gaining hands-on experience in all aspects of building and managing a high-impact VC portfolio.
As a Visiting Analyst at identity, you’ll be involved in a range of activities that provide a comprehensive understanding of the venture capital landscape. Here’s what you’ll be doing:
🚀 Source & Evaluate Investments: Participate in all stages of the investment cycle, including conducting founder calls, supporting due diligence processes, and preparing materials for investment committee meetings. 📝 Conduct Market Research: Conduct in-depth market research to identify and evaluate potential investment opportunities, with a focus on the LGBTQ+ community. 📈 Support Portfolio Companies: Assist in managing our portfolio companies by helping to establish reporting structures and facilitate communication between fund LPs and portfolio companies. 🌍 Build Our Network: Contribute to expanding our presence in key European startup hubs like London, Paris and Berlin by organizing and participating in networking events.
🎯 You are passionate about venture capital and eager to create a positive impact in the LGBTQ+ community. 🔍 You hold an outstanding Bachelor’s degree or higher from a top university. 💼 Previous work experience, such as an internship in a start-up, VC/PE fund, consultancy or banking is a plus. 🗣️ Fluency in written and spoken English is a mandatory requirement. 🏙️ EU passport or existing work permit for Germany is a must (we cannot sponsor visas).
At identity.vc, you’ll play an active role in building Europe’s first LGBTQ+ venture capital fund, work closely with experienced investors, and gain exposure to all aspects of early-stage VC.
As Europe’s first LGBTQ+ VC, we are passionate about diversity. We strongly encourage applications from women, members of the LGBTQ+ community, and other diverse groups.
