We’re identity.vc, Europe’s first venture capital fund dedicated to backing LGBTQ+ founders. Innovation thrives on challenging norms, and for the LGBTQ+ community, this is part of our DNA. “Born to Disrupt” is not just our slogan, it is our mission. Based in Berlin, our Article 9 impact fund invests in LGBTQ+-led startups at the pre-seed and seed stage across Europe and all sectors. As we raise our first fund, we see ourselves as a startup on a mission to change the VC world.

Who You Are

You are passionate about social media, and you know what makes content click. You love creating buzz, telling digital stories and building bridges. You already have a large social media following and know how to make the most out of platforms such as LinkedIn. You are ready to dive into the European LGBTQ+ startup and investor ecosystem.

What You’ll Do

• Manage Social Media: You will create posts, own our content calendar, and coordinate contributions from the team, especially on LinkedIn.
• Maintain Community Engagement: Foster our online community in Slack, share regular updates and prepare newsletters (from our investors to portfolio company founders).
• Support Marketing: Build templates or brand materials, and prepare communications for public relations.

What You Bring

• A great taste for social media and a proven track record for creating engaging content
• A sharp eye for detail to ensure high quality in content and communications
• An interest in or curiosity about the venture capital and startup world.
• Fluency in English; German is a plus.

Setup

This role is a freelancer position - expected effort 1 / 2 days per week. Social Media Manager will report to Chief of Staff.
